If there’s a better way to start your weekend, we’re all ears.

Open to anyone and everyone, Collective is a series of standalone a cappella singing events.

There is no performance: the goal is solely about the experience of singing with others. Collective 02 will focus on connecting to each other, working on musicality, and creating a beautiful sound. Like… a park run for singers.

If you don’t have time for a weekly commitment or if you just want to dip your toes in a cappella waters, Collective is for you. You just need to be able to sing in tune and be willing to give it a good go.

Collective 02 will focus on Lovely Day by Bill Withers (the arrangement has a light sprinkling of It Runs Through Me by Tom Misch in it too!) led by ChoirCo founder and director Erin McCullough.

We’ll send you the music two weeks ahead of time and print out copies for the session. Please turn up with the music as well-learnt as possible so we can focus on making it shine!

Location: The Ministry, 79-81 Borough Road, London, SE1 1DN

Run in conjunction with The Ministry of Sound, The Ministry is a vibrant work and events space, easily walkable from London Waterloo, London Bridge, Borough, and Elephant & Castle. Look for the building with the big melted disco ball!

Timings:

10am - Arrivals and registration with complimentary tea, pastries and fruit

1030am - Warmups and vocal connection

11am - 1230pm - Lovely Day

Coffees will be available to buy at the in-house deli.

Please book a ticket that relates to your voice part. If you don’t know what voice part you are, don’t panic. Check out this video to help give you an idea :)

Please note:

- The event will be standing but there are seats available should you need one.

- There will be photography and videography at this event to be able to promote future events
